Crags to Horsethief Falls is a 9.67 mile out and back section of the Ring the Peak trail located near Cripple Creek. This trail can be started at either end and features a waterfall and mountain meadows. Your best bet is to hike this trail between March and October with wildflowers peaking in late spring/early summer. Dogs are allowed on leash.

Trailhead Directions: Travel west on Highway 24 for 25 miles to State Highway 67 South. As you travel along Highway 24, you will pass through Woodland Park, the largest town in the area. Be careful not to turn onto State Highway 67 North which begins in Woodland Park but proceed to State Highway 67 South which begins further west in Divide. Turn left onto State Highway 67 South towards Cripple Creek and go approximately 4.3 miles to Teller County Road 62. Turn left onto County Road 62 and continue for 2.4 miles before turning right at the Mennonite Camp on to Forest Service Rd 383. Follow this road until you reach the Ring the Peak trailhead parking lot.
