The Pikes Peak Ascent and Pikes Peak Marathon, historic running races, are taking place on Saturday, September 16 thru Sunday, September 17, 2023. The Manitou Incline is closed for reservations or any recreational activity on these race days. This closure is to ensure the safety of race participants running up/down Barr Trail and hikers alike.
